I am just getting into Valiant (and am WAY behind) but I bound the current run of X-O and thought I'd share. I am really liking the gold buckram on books and have been experimenting on colors of foil. I also experimented with mounting graphic images onto the spine. (I say experiment because I don't know how it will look, no question that it will mount and stay on).

Indeed, that's impressive. I like the yellow field/blue lettering color combo you picked for the exterior, which provides a nice intro for the first issue's cover and echoes the colors of X-O's armor.
