Death of Wolverine
So...what did you think?
I doubt anyone is foolish enough to believe that Wolverine is truly dead, but how did you all like the story?
I thought it was pretty fitting. He basically came full circle with the Weapon X Project.
I liked how he had a way out laid right in front of him, in the form of the syringe of healing juice, and gave it all to the unwitting test subjects going through the agony he went through way back when.
The whole series was pretty good, IMO. The only downside was knowing full well that Marvel isn't really killing off one of it's most popular characters kind of made reading a Death of Wolverine mini-series kind of pointless.

There is even a website to mock the fact that he will come back.

"So it's only a matter of time before Wolverine returns in the super-mega-crossover event Wolverine Reborn, complete with weapon-etched die-cut 3D hologram foil embossed Milo Manara butt-in-the-air variant covers for the special Wolverine Reborn #1.NOW!!!.SNICKT debut issue. And that, of course, will lead into the long-awaited Crisis of Infinite Wolverines."

Re: Death of Wolverine
You forgot to mention that the first issue will have 30 extra pages of Axel Alonso talking about how much he likes Wolverine thinks that readers really did not see it coming that he will be back so soon. Of course it will cost 7,99$. Each Issue after that will have the normal 4,99$ price.DirtbagSailor wrote:"So it's only a matter of time before Wolverine returns in the super-mega-crossover event Wolverine Reborn, complete with weapon-etched die-cut 3D hologram foil embossed Milo Manara butt-in-the-air variant covers for the special Wolverine Reborn #1.NOW!!!.SNICKT debut issue. Re: Death of Wolverine
I just finished catching up on this last night. I was impressed with this story, especially with how bad the previous ongoing was. Overall I think the last issue could have had a higher word count; I really hate when it only take me minutes to read a comic. But the ending was great and did well to provide a good ending to such an iconic character.
I don't think we'll see Wolverine back for some time. I know Marvel doesn't want to kill a cash cow, but considering how they are approaching any movie properties Disney doesn't own then we might not see him back for some time.
