Yes Brian. To qualify there has to be at least one sub with Ed. The goal of this promo is to expose more members to all the great support Ed provides Valiant fans and VEI. Plus, with the other aspects of this, it is yet another concrete set of ways fans can support Valiant. We have put enough point options in this that any number of point combinations can make a participant a winner.

It has been a while since Elery and I have done a push which helps fans and VEI and we are pretty excited about this one. Now that we are back we already have a couple of other exciting things to roll out during the next few months. As always, we are working with VEI to recognize the great and supportive fans here.

I buy from them from time to time (like the last thing was all the chromes package - wasn't taking any chances and an extra copy of each is fine), but I too have a local LCS that gets me all the Valiants and I can't stop with them as it took some coaxing to get them to respond to my needs, which have been getting me most variants at cover price for a while now, and they are nice guys.
Again though very nice contest as Collector's Paradise are great folks and deserve our support
I do subscribe to their news letter.

I may have to get in on this... My regular mail order company provides an appealing discount based on the number of ongoing titles. With Valiant seemingly moving away from ongoing titles, the discount is going down. I'd rather show my support for Ed and all his work supporting Valiant.

As a big supporter of Valiant, Ed always orders up big on the Valiant titles, so it is only natural for all of us to support Ed where we can.

Please understand that we ALWAYS like to have you support your LCS (as evidenced by the HELP VALIANT GROW MONTHLY SALES push that is currently going on here). This promo was NEVER designed to have you turn from them. However, we felt that it could introduce you to yet another supplier (and member here) who has constantly demonstrated his massive support in so many way for both VEI AND the fans. In case there was any confusion, I just wanted to clarify that small question.

Collectors Paradise is my LCS from over 3000 miles away. (and they sell MTG stuff too!!!)

I have had subs from them for a while now, and am always pleased with the service, but not just from Ed. I usually deal with another employee of his named Nick, and he kicks *SQUEE* too, always quick to reply to my questions, never a problem with anything and everything arrives packed to perfection every month.

Hopefully you guys that are with DCBS and some of the others will take a chance on Ed, the service is top notch!

There is a great management site to add your titles and weekly email blasts with new titles that are recommended too. (It's how I decided to grab a bunch of stuff like Trees, Southern *SQUEE*, Figment for my neighbors kid etc).

Also, to comment on what Bruce said earlier, I agree if you have a good LCS around, you should be supporting them too (and that other thread re: the pullbox previews are another GREAT idea for this). The only LCS I have is a 45 min drive away and they provide next to no service and are terrible at pretty much everything so it made it an easy choice to go with Ed

I've tried dcbs once, but had a great experience buying a bunch of books from Ed so I signed up.

I assume the latter, but what I dig about you guys doing this is that it might make me move over to trying out mail-order for the first time ever (as I've really been thinking about walking from my LCS anyway...for better or worse )
