The Top 32 regular issues and Top 32 variants/specials have been
selected from the March 2005 ValiantComics.com price guide
and seeded in a "March Madness" style tournament.

Registered members will be able to pick the winner in each match-up,
and the winning books will continue on in the tournament through-out
the month.

The final match-up will put the #1 voted regular issue against the #1 voted variant/special.

You can use any criteria you want to make your selection...
as long as you are picking the book that you prefer most.

Since every match-up is only two books, you might imagine
that both books are sitting in front of you and you're only allowed
to take one home... which one will it be?

Just like a regular sports tournament, the "top-seeded" issues tend to have
an easy path toward the finals, but there are many "upsets" that can
occur along the way... even in the first round.

Round 1 will have 32 match-ups... which will be a lot of voting...
but as books are eliminated, it should be much easier (and take less time)
to make your selections.

Round 1a - Regular Issues (16 match-ups for 32 regular issue books)
will begin in the afternoon on Wednesday, March 9th, and
voting will last for five days.

Round 1b - Variants, etc. (16 match-ups for 32 variants/specials)
will begin Friday, March 11th, and will also allow five days for voting.

After Rounds 1a & 1b, the winners will continue in the tournament
according to the chart above, with five days of voting in Round 2a and 2b.

As fewer books remain after Round 2, the voting will allow fewer days
since there will be fewer match-ups to decide. We should be able to complete
the tournament in the month of March.

Hopefully, everyone will have a good time making their selections...
This category will be for voting only... discussions can take place
in the March Madness 2005 Discussions category.

Have fun! Thumbs Up
