New to the "comics" neighborhood
I was going to post a 'pondering' question, but, little to my amazement, it was answered as I looked at the comic in question. I got one of those "DUH" moments.
So, I figured, since I was already here, I would say hellooo anyway...

welcome latina...
we actually just had someone asking if there we're any ladies in the group. glad to have you here...check out the features greg, our illustrious leader, has added to the board.
i'd be interested to see you fill out the inventory page...there's a lot of good folks here who'd be happy to help get any issues you need...or keep you from overpaying for something as well.
as for the craziness that goes on...well, welcome to the board!

Ok gentlemen..I now have 2 'valiant' questions... I'm new to the comic book arena and just recently started educating myself about different things. If I were to post valiant comics on ebay, what would be the average going price for them? I have checked out different auctions on ebay and they don't seem to going for that high.. I would hate to over-price them...
Second question: What's the hoop-la about Harbinger # 0? I've heard that a copy of it sold on ebay for about $800.00 and in reading a little bit about valiant from this site, it says it doesn't exist.. so, does it or does it not exist?
Be gentle with me...

Depending on the books - I start them at 1/2 of Greg's guide prices. I usually (well, pretty much always) have a buy it now for the guide price. I'm not greedy - I figure if they are willing to pay guide for it they can have it. I only list the books for auction that Greg has for at least $4.00 here.
I put all the other "common" books in my ebay store for $.50 and up since the listing fees are so much lower for store listings. The only bad thing about store listings is that you get less ebay traffic. Auctions are the way to go for the more expensive books for sure!
That is my 2 cents worth...

As for the harbinger #0, yes it does exist in 2 versions.
The first is called "big pink" or "Harby pink" . You could only get Pink by cutting 6 coupons out of Harbinger issues #1 thru 6. (which lowers the value of the cut up book ) this book goes for around $70 on average and any $800.00 sale must have been a slabbed copy with a SUPER high grade.
look here. http://www.valiantcomics.com/valiant/issue.asp?cn=1217
the second version is the "blue variant" which was originally bagged with a trade paper back that reprinted the stories fron harbinger 1 thru 4. this variant is around $2.00 or so.
look here : http://www.valiantcomics.com/valiant/issue.asp?cn=250
Hope that helps.
When I was five, I dragged my dad into "Mike's Comic Hut"... If only I'd known..
