There should be a character called Spoiler who constantly tells you what happens in the next issue.Valiant Brings Back In 2014

It's (probably) a whole new world (world of the future) full of story opportunitiesswtor1091 wrote:i don't get whats the big deal about Rai
It's a character that was killed off too early in old Valiant with many stories to be told
Sci-fi is great
Maybe they'll throw in some elements from the old Magnus stories?

saying that i'm sure it will be an excellant comic just like the rest of the Valiant line and I would be lieing if i said the thought of a new valiant comic makes me excited. For the time being however I don't know enough facts.

I'd be curious to know that, too. Maybe because they were trying to figure out an "organic" approach to introducing him, and realized they could use the Eternal Warrior series to accomplish that. Assuming he shows up during the 4001 AD arc, that is.blujay wrote:That's just cuz you don't read the old stuffswtor1091 wrote:i was hoping for something i would understand... The must reads are the early "flip book" issues that were part of Magnus Robot Fighter. Then the First 8 issues of the "Rai" solo book. After that, a new Rai took over the legacy. The next year + of issues surround something called the "Malev War" and are worth reading.Talisman wrote:Never raid anything of him, can someone give me some tips on stuff I should look for/read?
There was a TPB of issues #0-5 produced back in the 90s, and VALIANT MASTERS: RAI is being released in a few months with issues #0-8 (I think).
Here's the Rai page from the VALIANT wiki if you want more info: http://the-book-of-geomancer.wikia.com/wiki/Rai

I don't get what everyone is excited about.. It's just a new whisky advertisement imported from Japan.

It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Not a big deal in my book. The second story arc of a series seems to be the popular place to reintroduce major VH1 characters.Keith wrote:I'd be curious to know that, too. Funny how I had no problem spoiling what was in the ad, but I made sure not to spoil any of the VH1 storyline for Talisman
