I'm happy either way if it was Ninjak or Rai, but I would be ecstatic if it was Timewalker.

I don't expect any new title announcements. Probably just some teasers for upcoming arcs.

I think we will hear about some new exclusive creators and maybe some announcement about trades and collections.

We might also get some new merchandising deal announcements.

I'd opt for a Timewalker series first, but would not argue if Rai finally got announced. Hoping that the delay from the original FCBD means a) the original pitch wasn't up to snuff, and 2) the revised plan will result in even more awesomeness.

I think Rai is a definite. I'm not sure what they'll announce about Rai (appearance or book), but I would bet that it will be that his first appearance will be in EW#5.

An announcement of a Ninjak book is possible, but given that Summer 2014 is still so far away, I think they'll save that for a later announcement.

If Rai is appearing in EW #5, then it's been planned for a while. Meanwhile, Dynamite doesn't even have artists for two of these books yet. VEI may have known the announcement was coming, but I doubt it affected anything they had planned.

It is convention time; publishers tease towards announcements for conventions. Therefore not entirely unthinkable that it isn't coincidental. And with VEI gearing up for another 8 titles over the next 24-27 months, that would be one title every 3 months or so if spaced out. Allow for lead-in build up and teasers for each, and any time DE launch with their take on GK and it will likely coincide with something VEI have cooking.
