I'm really excited about this, and it only has 16 views in the thread I originally posted here. (I'm like 12 of the views)

$200, but it was worth every penny. I love that he signs over his fingerprint on his commissions. That's better than any CGC witness!

That's gorgeous. Love that it is colored - you usually don't see that in sketchbook covers. Do you know what he used to color it? (copic, watercolor, etc)
I saw it in the other thread but wasn't at my computer to be able to give kudos

Well it's definitely not watercolor. You can see the brush marks standing off the page. I don't know what copic is. He had a Bob Ross style palette with several dollops of paint on it. Forgive my art ignorance.

Don't get me wrong, that cover is awesome but nothing is as cool as happy little trees.

Oh, and Copic is a brand of markers.

That's awesome! The background color really makes it pop.

He uses acrylic (water based) paints on these. So even better than copics (which are awesome).

I can't believe we got sketches done on the opposite sides of the same flip book on the same day, there is some kind of universal alignment happening here

So for those more familiar with original art and such (pixierosa, sonicdan, et al.), what is the safest way to store this baby?

I'm going to get one of those plastic comic book cases that you can hang on the wall, covers like these should be displayed not stored.

Then again I'm single and my place is like Pee Wee's play house, so there you go.

Maybe our books are quantum halves to a whole. Maybe, just maybe, if we turn them at the right angle we can get both sketches to appear on both books!
