Valiant at FanExpo ComicCon in Toronto
I just got the Valiant Voice newsletter today & the top news item was that the lads are in Toronto all weekend [starting tomorrow] with a full booth for the Con! Holy crap! This is supremely short notice, but I'm there anyway all weekend with my wife & our good friend in artist alley... what a bonus surprise, I can't wait to go meet everyone.
I've already mentioned it to Marrowman elsewhere, but if any other Canadian Valiant Fans [just you never mind about it, Dunlow!] are in the Toronto area - come find me there, and go see the fella's!

OMG This show was jam friggin packed. Was pretty awesome to meet Josh Deck, AtomBang Freeman, Cary Nord and P-Twitty (Peter from Twitter) I only took one pic of me and Josh, I was lazy. I got some swag too.

It was a fun day today, I swung by the Valiant booth twice to talk to the fellows - once alongside Marrowman. Showed them my originals of all the Fan Art Friday submissions I had on hand. P-Twitty told me that Fred Pierce had said my HARDCats pic was of 'professional quality', which was awesome to hear! 
Really great to finally meet a fellow VFan member, Marrowman & I had fun briefly touring around while I talked up another illustrator pal of mine - Mike Rooth [that was a nice Tigra costume, eh Marrow?]. I will have to try to get a pic of Atom! & Peter at the booth before the weekend is out, will post here later if I do.
Beyonder, I still hope to run into you there - stop by table #A265!
Also, I have to apologize to you guys trying to communicate with me via this board during the day - even if I had time to check it, I can't really, the signal is totally bogged down & overloaded in the place & I can't do much of anything with my phone. Even texts are slow to get through for some reason!

Marrowman & I [ I gotta admit, I felt I was channeling Elveen a little in this pic, even though I am probably nowhere near as tall!];

I'm sorry I didn't actually get any of Atom! & Peter or the booth... I wasn't lazy, just really distracted & overstimulated most of the time there!

A couple of shots of the booth in Artist Alley - as I mentioned above, we were mainly there to help our friend Dan. My wife has been making one-of-a-kind art-dolls based on characters from his books, and so there are many of them on display [there were actually more, but some had sold by the time I took these pics];
Dan also made some space for her to sell a few other items such as postcards & posters of her art;
