Also, I've seen the monster released a few times, but does it just disappear eventually? Curious how that works; stuffing one's demons back into their psyche.

Awesome preview - cant wait for the big finale...
Interesting idea, pixie - that kid is so scared of the thing too, I can't imagine him relaxing enough to 'stuff it back in the bottle', so to speak.
Perhaps its something as simple as being a drain on his energy to keep the projection going, and sooner or later he gets weary enough that it just fades away...
