Empire, The Filth, Terra Abscura
Just got done reading the above series (I generally don't read a series until it's complete and even then it takes me a while to get around to reading it!) and thought I'd comment.
Empire surprised me, aside from the obvious "elsewords" take on Dr. Doom, it had some surprising moments and was a real joy to real. I'm glad to see that the series was finished.
The Filth confused me, disgusted me and generally left me disturbed, but I guess that's what I get for reading a Grant Morrison original story. Wasn't as good as the Invisibles, but along the same lines..
Terra Abscura was more of the same from Alan Moore and company - a flashback to fun characters and simpler times.....
