You might be a Valiant Fan if you . . . . .
. . . are annoyed when Prince Valiant shows up in your ebay search.
. . . hear about a shooter on the news and think, "Jim?"
. . . can't decide if #0 issues belong at the front of the checklist or between the issues where they arrived.
. . . can't look at a compass without seeing a V.
. . . are disappointed when someone says they have bloodshot eyes and their eyes aren't completely red.
. . . eat rye bread on your sandwiches just because you like ordering "Rai".
. . . seriously consider burning down a comic shop if the owner scoffs when you ask about Valiant.
. . . want to send nasty emails to sellers who spell titles like "Magnvs" and "Ninjack".
. . . want to send nastier emails to sellers who claim chromium issues are gold when they're just regular.
. . . watched Harry Potter to see if Rai #0 is still in the Wizard Top Ten.

Re: You might be a Valiant Fan if you . . . . .
If your office walls are covered in original art, all depicting the same (obscure, according to your friends) character, done by a bunch of artists, who all say "WHO?" when you ask them for a commission.
If you are asking your wife to put some of this art in your house's living areas, because there is not an inch of space left on the walls, and you just bought two more pieces.
If you have 3 statues of the same, semi-naked looking guy, in 3 different colors, and your kids are looking at you weird every time they see them....
But not as weird as the penguin you have dressed in a costume (which you told your kids not to touch 'cause it's RARE, but inside they are laughing at your "issues")
If you MAKE your employees shove Valiant titles down customers' throats, even though all they really want is the next issue of Batman or My Little Pony (or both, effing bronies)
If you spend hours browsing ValiantFans instead of working on promoting your events this weekend.

If two guys fly across country to sleep on your floor then take a road trip to NY to hang out with Greg at three in the morning at Times Square. And one doesn't pay for his half of the hotel room.
That's a hard core fan.
