harbinger patches

Post by nonplayer »

I got tired of waiting for someone or valiant to do this so ive started the motions of making harbinger patches. Would any one be interested. Looks like theyr expensive if I make a few so Im starting with like five but if you guys want one let me know by the end of the week. I got a pre quote its around 12.00 Canadian each. I will up date tonight when I know more. Im hopeing for a metallic teal like on faiths out fit with a white bird the bird over laps the circle so a black trim will be the edge. Sound good?
I Miss the good old days.

I got my first quote and I am unhappy:-(
75.00 set up fee
And 13.00 each
The other place said 50.00 set up fee
And 13.00 each
So thats like 25.00 Each for the first 5 but each one after would be 13.00 +tax
I was only planning on 5 one for me and a few friends and perhaps 2 you guys could grab but thats ridiculous.
So this is a bust. :-(

That's a bummer NP, I've had to get uniforms for my guys in the past and embroidery was part of it. You have to be super careful some places will just butcher it.

A Harbinger patch is a BOSS idea though :thumb:

Maybe Dinesh knows a guy in Hong Kong :hm:

edit- why the hell is this in the spoiler area, am I lost? :?

I tried to bring up this Idea countless times with you guys. I even told Dinesh and provided him with a quote from some united states embroidery place. I think it was around 0.50 cents each or something.
Make a variant comic that on the cover there was a real harbinger patch you could take off. The cover picture could be of a character or a jacket. Then we get patches. except the variants would be 1/50 or some even higher ratio.
:( thought I could make a few for me :-(

I love this idea, and would be in if it were cheaper. Also, asked Dinsesh about full out Harbinger Jackets, Pete Stancheck style. Baller!

I wish Valiant would just get around to putting their stuff up for sale online--I know they have the t-shirts since apparently they sell them at the conventions. I wish they'd get something set up online. Harbinger patches would be an easy thing to develop for them, I'm sure.

They may be working on that, but I like the exclusiveness of the stuff.

Embroidery Patches are always more $$$ when its done in small quantities.

So the price is fair IMO.

If you can get a group of members to participate, the prices will be lowered.

Get 75 members to get the setup fee down to $1 each.

Great idea but you better be worried about their intellectual property.

I think if you are doing this as a fan to promote VEI and not to make profit.... It should not be an issue.

VEI has no apparel for patches... If we are doing knock offs then it would be an issue.

If enough can get on board, I'm in.

Maybe a Harbinger in Red for Canada or would that make us look like Eggbreakers? :?

I would love it if someone else would spear head this? I dont wanna get in trouble, or anyone to get in trouble
I dont wanna *SQUEE* anyone off either. I just want a patch! For me! But its not feasible:-)
So here's what I suggest. Someone else take over or write to valiant some with some persuasion. If they order alot they will b e like 0.50 each. Or if you guys live in the states there must be someone super cheep like down in Arizona.
We can not do this if Valiant doesn't know. I dont wanna be sued or worse banned from the universe.
I Miss the good old days.
