That's the new piece, but there's also some spoilerish news about all of the books! New art!

Whoa...amazing amount of preview art in there for all the books...good looking stuff from Hairsine, especially.iwantvaliantcomics wrote:http://geek-news.mtv.com/2013/01/24/val ... adowman-0/
Here's the Shadowman #0 article.
I like the Shadowmobile...since the Shadow Loa takes its appearance from the host's subconscious it makes sense that Jack looks like an urban vigilante superhero and Josiah looked like a 70s Blacksploitation character...supped up ride and all.
Also digging Gangsta' Shadowman there.

Aye! Like that they did that.
Loving the Gafti/Aric flashback, too. Going to make their battle hurt even more. I'm interested in those flashback scenes for A&A...

The "Shadowmobile" reminds me of the Impala from Supernatural.
Really digging what I've been seeing from all the forthcoming zero issues.

So where is Bloodshots and X-O's... or does Bloodshots #7 count as his zero issue?

Re: Shadowman #0 Warren Simons interview
Interesting idea... would a #0 issue of X-O be about Aric, or Shanhara, or both? Maybe a Bloodshot #0 has to wait till he does know his origin before becoming Bloodshot? And is that something VEI is going to give up anytime soon or are they gonna string it out for a long time? An interesting twist would be to do the Bloodshot #0, show his origin and who he was before and people he dealt with, but NOT have the current day character discover the info for awhile still. He could cross paths with people from his past and the fans would go "Ahhhh, see that person, it's his former lover and he just killed her!" but Bloodshot wouldn't know till later maybe. That would be something I haven't seen done in comics before.swtor1091 wrote:So where is Bloodshots and X-O's... or does Bloodshots #7 count as his zero issue?

Both series will be back to regular numbering in June, and there won't be two books in May for those titles.

Nice interview.
I heard sometime ago that there was a Shadowman movie in the works, has there been any news on that yet?

(Unsurprisingly) I'm looking forward to the Shadowman #0 issue. I'm really looking forward to the 'explanation' of the Loa and the Shadowman and the hows and whys.
I'm also hoping that the comic has an extended page count too
