Yeah, there were some copies on eBay... I scored 4 from one eBay seller and 2 from my LCS but gave him back one copy after I found out what the book was all about... This could very well prove to be the modern version of Hulk #181...

If I had a nickel for every "next Hulk #181" that has come out since 1974, I'd have a nickel for EVERY comic that has come out since 1974.

The closest anyone has come to Hulk #181 is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1.
That's after millions of toys, years of cartoon, and several movies... and 28 years ago.
With an original print run of 3,000.

Well TMNT was a launch title.... It's not that I disagree with you, but if you scale down the pricing in relation to how long each book has been on the market, I'd say maybe a more analogous comparison might be Amazing Spider-Man #300 or possibly.... ehhhhh..... well ASM 300. But then again, both that and TMNT are bronze era aren't they? There is no modern book in that status other than maybe TWD #1, but again that's a launch title.

Oh, definitely not laughing at your input man. It's more of a market analysis thing. This Spider-Man thing is a gimmick story that years ago would've played out across 3 or so issues of the standard book. Nowadays it's an excuse for an event story for media attention by Marvel. Young Avengers was entertaining when that was published briefly, and that came with Joe Quesada going to hobby media and explaining how definitive and amazing those characters were, as if they were the rebirth of Marvel ground-and-flight superheroes who were going to be iconic for the next 40 years.

If you really think anything related to Spider-man since 1990 has a chance to become something important long term... I know it's legal in some areas, but you probably shouldn't light up and Ebay at the same time.

I really doubt that Daredevil #21 will be worth more than $10 in a year really. It is a lot of hot air and if anyone thinks that The Superior Spider-Man replace Peter Parker for longer than 3 years max then as the song says: I got ocean front property in Arizona for you and if you act fast I will throw the Golden Gate Bridge in free.

That's old data. Two just sold at 14.99 ea on eBay. They aren't showing up on completed listings yet, but I assume will shortly.

Why is everyone saying that DD 21 is the 1st appearance? ASM 698 is clearly the 1st..in DD its a cameo. This is amazing to see people over react over this. This Doc Oc spiderman is going to last two years depending on sales and that's coming from a unamed source. ASM 698 is your 1st app, accept it.
