Really big month, some great stories. Awesome covers, too. That Bloodshot one is horrifying. I really like Faith, glad we're going to hear more of her story. Is #4 the last arc in this Shadowman story?
I can't wait until tomorrow, either. New releases, yay!

When i first saw that cover I immediately thought of the old Looney Tunes cartoons.

I like the look of most of the titles, but I still hate the look of Chainsaw. It's just too over the top for my taste. I hope it's better in the book.

Hoo-boy, what a month indeed!! So much coolness happening across all the titles... I almost can't stand being teased with this great stuff so far in advance. So awesome that we're getting the Harby 0 & 9 in the same month. And very cool that Harby 9 is sounding like a nod to the original #13

I agree. I've loved every creative decision they've made so far, but Chainsaw just looks terrible. I could end up eating my words after I read the book though.

On the surface, Chainsaw sounds very much like a 90's 'extreme cool' concept, as it originally was... I would expect they've got some decent ideas to update it though, even if the new versions of the characters still look like Franken-borgs. I'll reserve judgment 'till I see it.FormerReader wrote:etos45 wrote:I like the look of most of the titles, but I still hate the look of Chainsaw. It's just too over the top for my taste. Re: VALIANT February 2013 Solicits!
Really surprised that the Bloodshot trade is still the same price as the Harbinger trade from the previous month since BS has one less issue reprinted. I know the X-O trade for December was an intro low price but you'd at least think the Bloodshot one would have a price somewhere in between the X-O and Harbinger trades. Its getting steep just for a 4 part story these days. VEI's prices are still lower than a 4-5 issue trade from IDW though, $18-20 usually. If you combined the cover prices of the $3.99 comics x 4 your still saving a buck with the BS trade. Its just that from the low price of the X-O trade to the Harbinger trade you were saving $5-6 off cover prices had you bought the comics themselves in the end. Just my two cents.

Hope DCBS does another Valiant Bundle. I'm really digging getting all my Valiant titles for $9.97!
