Mid-grade CGC's Silver Age Spideys, 21-47, $0.99 (for now)
I determined it was a good time to list these. They are from a one owner collection that got me a goodly number of 8.5's and above, including some 9.4s. The quality of these is amazing, and you will be hard pressed (in most cases) to find better examples in grade.
No reserve, all starting at $0.99. Market market market. And pick up a few of the DCs at under grading cost as well.
I'll get to listing 7-8 valiants this week.

Ok, not 15 years ago...that would have been right as #87 was coming out. Can you imagine? Buying 1,000 copies of #87 right off the bat, then trading 10 of them for 100 copies of Harb #1 two years later?
The mind boggles to consider.
But it WAS 14 years ago.
#87 peaked at $65, #88 at $30, #89-91 at $20 each!
And you know what's REALLY sad?
I turned DOWN a copy of #7 because it was beat all to hell. Just BEAT. We're talking cover folded 6 ways til Sunday, a solid Pr/Fr at BEST.
Turned it down.
DUH!

I'm hoping to win a couple but the way the market is this month I'll be lucky enough to be consider a finalist. However, good luck with these ckb! I'll make sure you get the price of submission back.

If I found ANY crappy #3 around for cheap, I'd pick it up. I don't care if a dog did his business on it, ripped in half and barley clinging together or whatever. It's the LAST one I need and it has been that way for about 12 years now.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:

ARRRGGH!! I should've bought that decent one I saw 8 years ago on a roadtrip to NY at Metropolis, but that was when I had quit collecting. Haven't seen any reasonable ones since and I still refuse to pay guide.

I'm gonna have to break down one of these days and just overpay on a high grade copy to celebrate the completion of the run!!
