Very awesome. VEI is really kicking butt. Love the zero issue idea and the first image of Torque.

I like the idea of the zero issue in that you get more of a background, but I'm not sure I like the idea of it coming pout in the first year. I don't want to know everything about everyone right away. It's nice to have some things left unknown.

Another harby pink to collect maybe :P :P Have to say the convention was quite chaotic. They ran out of program guides and I could not figure out where everything was since it was so big. At least I found the valiant booth after 30 minutes:)

That's freakin' awesome. :thumb:

Can't wait to see Mico doing interiors on a book!! Dysart's enthusiasm for Harbinger is contagious - I love that he is soo into writing this series, being such a fantastic writer. His concept for Harada is just as I hoped - *probably* a 'bad guy' but with so many shades of grey in his motivations that you can't just simply define him with that one label.

I do think it's a bit odd that he wants to do a 'series' of Harbinger zero issues - I'm all for one-shot specials coming from VEI, but maybe let's just call them one-shots, with an appropriate sub-title under the Harbinger umbrella? :?

Is that Torque wearing Ed Hardy.

They discussed this issue at the panel. It's the origin story of Harada, telling the story of his being held at a detainment center in post-war occupied Japan and his coming into his powers in such an environment.

Harbinger #0 will tell the origin of Harada.

In the intervew, Dysart says perhaps they will do a series of Zero Issues focussing on the different Renegades or the Bleeding Monk, but none of that is confirmed.

He also said his original idea was for 1/2 issues that would fit between others (So for example #4.5 would come out two weeks after #4 and two weeks before #5). these would do the same as a typical Zero book, expanding on the character's origins and motivations and connecting to the overall plot, but not interfering with the current arc.
