Archer + Armstrong #3 Variant is MIA!

All three local shops in Raleigh/Durham NC have NO A+A #3 Variants!
(the character design variant)

Is this nationwide? Did ANYONE get that variant yesterday?

EDIT: We did get the Bloodshot regular and character design variant covers, just not the A+A character design variant.

My shop didn't either. It wasn't even on their invoice, and they did get the Bloodshot variant. I was wondering if it had been changed to a 1:whatever variant.

Could you ask your shop to throw a few in your box, and see if the board members that didn't get em get em next week?

My shop (Midtown Comics – NYC) had plenty of both versions of both books (although the non-variants were kinds tough to find in excellent condition; there seemed to be common indentations or paper defects).

My shop in VA didn't get them, but said they put in a re-order and expect them on Friday. I'll probably not get over there until the weekend, but it didn't sound like it was going to be hard for them to get them.

Maybe it was just a problem at the distributor? My shop seemed to have equal amounts of both (and stacks, at that; of course, my shop is Midtown Comics, which does huge volumes).

I'm in Raleigh too. Only place you'll find any Valiant variants so far is Ultimate Comics. The other stores don't really order enough issues for variants yet. Even then, your best bet is to have a subscription and then they'll put them in your box.

And no, I don't have a subscription there - It's just where I was able to find my A&A #1 variant.

That's right, this was a normal cover price variant. So, even shops with small orders could get em easily. I set up a pull box with Ultimate and get my variants there now, instead of ebay. Keep it local and less of a headache chasing em all down. Isn't cheap though!

I'm perplexed why the didn't receive the A+A 3 variant though. Hopefully it'll come next week!

Neither variant here. At least they finally managed to deliver Bloodshot 3. I need to start a thread about all problems Diamond are causing.

He already sold out of his whole order by 6pm...

My LCS (Lincoln, NE) usually doesn't order much but they tend to have at least the pull box variants. Not the case with A&A #3. It's the only shop in town. Haven't checked the Omaha stores.
