I may be going, wife said its ok if I stay over. However, I think I will just go for the saturday and take the 3.5 hour bus to and back. Don't think my 2 year old son and wife would like a 7 hour bus trip in one day. The things I do for valiant
I probably would leave after the valiant panel. Are you going Rufush?

You going again Rufus? I'll probably be there...currently recovering from hip surgery but I absolutely LOVE this con and don't imagine that'll keep me away. Last year was cool....I chatted some with Sean Chen and bought a couple penguins.
I imagine jdmoonie will be there too, I've bumped into him a couple times over the years.

Ok. So I'm proposing an East Coast meet and greet for sat night. A chance to meet old friends and make new ones. A local bar/restaraunt downtown? Is the " comic book defense league" doing anything like what they did in San Diego? I'll look into it and get back. Till then, who's IN?!

What was the name of that restaurant that we meet up at a few years back? kind of set up high and had a fairly nice view of things.hulk181man wrote:You going again Rufus? It was at Inner Harbor - but can't quite recall. I was exhausted by the end of that day and with little to nothing to eat the Guinness was going straight to my headRufusharley wrote:What was the name of that restaurant that we meet up at a few years back? kind of set up high and had a fairly nice view of things.hulk181man wrote:You going again Rufus? I found this place.
Tir Na Nog Irish Bar & Grill
Harborplace, Pratt Street Pavilion
410-483-8968
Outdoor dining, waterfront
Price: Moderate
**Creative Irish fare in a tavern atmosphere.
very close and is on the water. Maybe 6:30 ish. how does that work with everyone? too early?

Jed Clampett says that is for hanging empties on. Then again, he was referring to shine jugs and those have a loop on it and these beer glasses don't.Blood of Heroes wrote:Just make sure you stick that pinky way up high while you drink it.

Tell Jed he shouldn't be ending sentences with prepositions. It should read more like this:Chiclo wrote:Jed Clampett says that is for hanging empties on. I hope to see you guys at the booth or panel. Dinner would be cool but my schedule is up in the air. The posse I'm travelling with has doubled the last 2 years....seems this comic hobby and convention thing's catching on with the younger generation.
