I like. But not as much as the others.
BTW - BIG shouts to Only the Valiant Podcast. Nice.
And certainly not as much as the variant to Bloodshot 3.
This one kicks some serious *SQUEE* *SQUEE* all over *SQUEE*
Even if I weren't a crazy completionist, this would be on a list.
BTW - try putting the word "c o m p l e t i s t" into a post.
When did this change?

Gotta thank Dinesh for the sweet shout out.
Here's the X-O Visigoth Metal mentioned in the article, in case folks haven't heard it:

It was actually regular Greg that did that. Even though "completionist" is not a word and "c o m p l e t i s t" is the correct word.etos45 wrote:Evil Greg got ahold of the autocorrect to enforce the use of "completionist".kevinbastos wrote:BTW - try putting the word "c o m p l e t i s t" into a post.

It makes sense, though. Kind of like how the word "Shootist" should be "Shotist" since he makes shots, not shoots.Heath wrote:It was actually regular Greg that did that. Very nice covers. Good interview. I hadn't heard much from Simons lately so I'm glad he was there to chime in. It's my greatest fear that he will get the Shooter treatment one day and the line will crumble.

Re: CBR Discussion With Valiant Execs
We're just gonna have to face facts. There's going to be AT MINIMUM a 1:20 variant for every issue. It's just the way the business is run these days.cjv wrote:It also says there is going to be a Archer and Armstrong 2 variant.

Re: CBR Discussion With Valiant Execs
That was a pretty sweet read! Totally digging the new art, though I skimmed a few images cause it looks like some plot points are revealed, fyi. I especially like that Bloodshot 3 variant and the Archer and Armstrong #2 variant is cool too

Awesome read. Also confirmed 2 more titles within a year. So worries about the EW and Rai teasers being for first appearances look to be put to rest.

Re: CBR Discussion With Valiant Execs
one does not necessitate the other. I don't see why Rai or EW wouldn't appear in other titles before getting their own?BugsySig wrote:Awesome read. Also confirmed 2 more titles within a year. So worries about the EW and Rai teasers being for first appearances look to be put to rest.
If they are focusing on the 80% who aren't Valiant die-hards, that is just a smart way to set up new titles.
What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter
