SDCC POKER/TRIVIA NIGHT 2012

Ok kiddies, the Comic Con is less than a month away. That means the annual Valiant Fans get together is too. Last year was a huge success and, in my opinion, the highlight of the convention. Dino crushed the opposition in the trivia game making it abundantly clear why he does what he does. This year I have high hopes for Dr. Solar as he is kicking *SQUEE* and taking names in Rubiks-Q-Bert's trivia contest. Warren Simons and Unknown Tales split the pot as the poker game ran into the wee hours of the morning. A good time was had by all.

The plan is to have everyone over on Thursday the 12th. The con closes at 7 (as far as I know) so we'll start the trivia game promptly at 8. Feel free to come over any time before that. We'll do pizza again sodas, beer, etc. If anyone needs a ride, just ask. I'll do my best to pick up people that don't have their own wheels. Or coordinate carpools, hitchhike, etc.

Depending how many people are coming, the location of the party may be changing from the previous two years. Speak up and let me know if you're coming. Wives and children are welcome. Any questions, pm me.

Also, nostalgia just isn't what it used to be.

He who dies knowing the most Valiant trivia is nonetheless dead.

I used to have a handle on Valiant trivia, but it broke.

Considering these facts, I had a photographic memory which was never developed.

My short-term memory is not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my short-term memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
