Free Comic Day 2012
I just found out that my local Comic Book store forgot to hold back a copy of the Free Comicbook day Valiant comic and a copy of X-O manowar. So I am going to have to go to ebay to get a copy of X-O but should I also buy a copy of the FCB preview? Is it worth the money and trouble? Thanks

It's okay, I guess. There is a little new material, but most of the book is the previews of X-O and Harbinger that are going to be in the regular books anyways. I think the only other noteworthy thing in my opinion are the images of Rai and Eternal Warrior. Yea, it's def an early piece of the new Valiant history, I would suggest everyone who's into Valiant have this in there collection. I expect it'll hold a decent value in the near future. I wasnt able to get a copy either...
It kind of rubs me the wrong way that retailers get to sell these on eBay when they were designed as freebies.

I was able to get a copy with an order from Midtown Comics on Friday. It was free. They probably have more.

There's no new material in the FCBD book, except for a few pages of the script for the upcoming Bloodshot, and a few advertisement for future series.
If you're just interested in the stories, it isn't essential.
