Good job, 400. I don't expect many will be able to narrow it down to one.

Tough choices! For me it has to be:

I am tempted to be funny and go with Solar # 10 or Zero Hour # 0, but...damn. This is going to be tough. I know of at least a dozen I'll have to select it from. Good thread.

Wow, never realized how close Invincible #1 is to X-O Manowar #1.

H181M, that's probably one of the best Silver Age marvel covers. Awesome.

Strangely, Solar 10 is one of my favorite covers. It definitely hits my Modern Art sensibilities.

There are many others, but this one comes to mind:

Top 5 is not a problem, but #1 is usually whichever of those I'm looking at right then. Solar #3 is usually my answer though, as you can see from my avatar, so I'll stick with that.
This post has been carefully constructed so as to add absolutely nothing to any discussion or topic.

I have a coloured in version which is framed beautifully :)

Whoever did colour it way back when made it look better.
There is also a All Star Squadron issue with a similar style.
I trade as Dead Universe Comics in the UK, which is no surprise to those who know of my legendary Dead Universe habit.

Here is mine ... :cloud9: By the way, I just had that Silver Silver slabbed a few months back from a copy I've had since I was a kid. Not the best shape. I think it came back a 5.5 .... is there a price guide somewhere for slabbed books by grade?? I'm curious how much it might be worth.

EDIT: I should of checked the prices before I sent it in! 4.5 on EBAY for $100 ... I thought this was a rare enough book to get slabbed. Oh well. It looks cool and it's got some nostalgia for me.

Love this cover. I think all the time about how much cooler it could have been without that bar on the top.

On a side note, a man came into the LCS asking if one of his books - a Hulk I think - was, in fact, worth $2500...

I thought quite a while about this one.

ONE cover kills me. I tore back and forth a long time with a few X-Mens...

And came up with this one. Uncanny X-Men 28

Loved the cover - and Banshee and Mimic were always two of my favorite characters.

In addition, I'm right.

I've been thinking about getting someone to do a cover re-creation of X-Men 137 with some different characters that I like instead. The Tick and Arthur might be funny... Daredevil and Elektra? Those are a couple of my favorites I was thinking of.

Here's one of Polaris and Havoc that our own Anthony Castrillo did ...

Can anyone think of a Valiant version that might work well?

Reminds me of this image Draco, I am sure you will agree your cover reference is just a homage to this masters

Sting and Kris?

What if a villain from the future tried to prevent "Kris' baby" from being born...huh...interesting thought.

Not exactly that way but in Deathmate, some of the big problem stemmed from the fact that Magnus did not get sent to the future.
