Robocop?

So when I was in a comic store today (a rare occurance for me) I spied the 7th issue of a Robocop comic, apparently by Frank Miller, put out by some company I had never heard of. Anybody know anything about this? Is this a regular series? mini? Ive always been a big robocop fan, from the unheralded and great-but-cheap 23 issue marvel series to the sometimes good sometimes bad dark horse stuff.

It's a mini (8 issues I believe) I've been reading it so far and it is so-so. The art is pretty wild but this is an old Frank Miller script from the early 90s apparently that is just getting done now. I wonder why...

I think I recall that Frank Miller wrote the script for one of the Robocop movies, maybe he wrote another movie that was never made and they decided to make that script into this comic series. Just a guess on my part.

My understanding is that the script for this book was the original script for Robocop 2 or 3 (The one FM was associated with). Hollywood butchered the original version and FM said he'd never deal with anyone in that town again. That's why it seems so amazing that there will be a Sin City movie!

That's what one of the 'bad guys' in Robocop 3 yells as they are getting destroyed in a battle with Robocop. It may be the funniest unintentionally funny line in a movie ever.
