Interesting tweet from Valiant... any clues on what it could mean?
Huge step forward today for Valiant! We made a play that will shock when its announced and will pay back for years to come!

That's definitely one idea that came to mind... I also thought maybe they did the impossible and got Shooter back, but I think both are pretty unlikely. Maybe they acquired one of the original creators or finally made space travel possible?

Re: Valiant twitter tweets of interest ...
After Dark Horse's total mismanagement of original stories for Gold Key characters it is quite possible that Random House could have pulled them and went elsewhere. Dark Horse doesn't have an exclusive on all the Gold Key properties that Random House owns. Checker House & Hermes Press is also reprinting Gold Key properties as well. Random House owns them and can pretty much go where they want.etos45 wrote:BruceReville wrote:etos45 wrote:Interesting tweet from Valiant... any clues on what it could mean?

"Play" and "years to come" sound like they may have gotten some of the Gold Key properties back, but I don't know.

I would agree (and it's always possible) that is could be the GK3 are back, but it just seems unlikely. I mean, DH doesn't own the rights to all GK, but they do have publishing rights for the three we care most about (make that 2

Sadly, I agree with you that the Shooter return wouldn't be as exciting for me now as it would have been before the Dark Horse fiasco. First, I don't entirely respect him anymore for the recent comments he's made on his blog and second, I wasn't all that impressed with the Dark Horse stuff... I was hopeful that it was going to all tie into something, but it didn't.400yrs wrote:Yeesh. I hope not. He's too busy blogging anyway.etos45 wrote:

The first thing that popped into my head when I read "play" and "shocked" was the GK3, because that seems to be the most obvious answer, but it just seems so unlikely at the same time.

Hunter hates it when I get on Twitter and make cryptic tweets! Nothing to do with GK3 but super exciting nonetheless! Made everyone in the office fist pump the skyBruceReville wrote:etos45 wrote:Interesting tweet from Valiant... any clues on what it could mean?

Fingers crossed. I still think a future Valiant universe with Magnus is canon.

Meh. I think they're better off without the GK3.
Re: Valiant twitter tweets of interest ...
Yeah I kind of agree. They should save their money and put it towards more important things like talent and movies. It's funny when they first were relaunching we were all wondering if they could survive without the GK3 ... now we don't even want them backBlood of Heroes wrote:Meh.
