Not knowing anything about comics was a way of life for many LCS owners in the 90's. I remember that around here, there was a guy who basically was a low level mafia-wannabe who charged double and triple cover for books the day they came out and that there was another guy at another shop, who couldn't pronounce half the names of various characters, including Morpheus, from Sandman. The first guy wore a truly terrible looking hat and the other, he was a big fellow with undersized clothing and...well, let's just say both his parents must have been plumbers, because the few times I went in there, I though I was reading Lord of the Rings. Yes, that's right, I got a peek at the Crack of Doom.vikingspawn wrote:The socks-less host was distracting....didn't look like he knew too much about comics....or wearing socks.Knightt wrote:That must have been taped during the great 'Sock shortage' during the Dark Horse era.
