Interesting Ultraverse article

I found this article online which surprised me a little since it was published in 1993.

It talks about how Prime put up sales numbers on par with Superman and Spiderman. There is some discussion about Malibu's advertising campaign too.

I'm still amazed that other companies haven't tried TV commercials to sell their comics especially Marvel and DC. Maybe they do and I just don't see it.

I've never seen or heard of such things, but it boggles the mind. I think that a major problem with comics is how incestuous the whole medium is, from the business side to creative, including retail and consumer.

There were 3 TV ads that I know of. You can see all three on Firearm #0 video.
