Yeah and I think Jamie Biggs, the artist, is a woman as well but I am not 100% positive

Yes, I know I read the comments I was adding that not only was the commission by a woman, but I think the artist is a woman as well

While, yes, it's very cool, am I the only one that thinks the poses of the characters are a little too Liefeldian?

Yes, some of them like Armstrong, Archer, and Magnus especially. Overall I like it and really like how Darque is blended into the background.

Same here. It's a very well done piece, but I'm not real keen on his take with some of the characters.

Well in fairness the artist does say "I had never drawn most of these characters before"
The only one I don't really like is Armstrong. I think the expression is not one we would see on him.
Overall I think it's awesome

I love the piece as a whole despite the few quirks. In addition, I like the general composition. The way she respects the edge of each art board allows the art to be used for a gatefold or for a 4 issue mini.
