True, I wouldn't even consider $80 for a full run of Magnus.Daniel Jackson wrote:The way the Valiant market has been, I don't think anyone would bite at half that price. It's also a good idea to introduce yourself and make a few posts before expecting someone to drop that kind of money with a total stranger.

Yeah totally
I'd never pay for the convenience of having the entire set provided in one deal. Just like most of you I'd rather search through multiple stores and spend tons of extra in shipping by getting bits and pieces from different on line stores. That's a way better use of my time.

$60?! I should have to pay you for taking these worthless sets off my hands. That would be more realistic.Daniel Jackson wrote:At least that's more realistic.superman-prime wrote:maybee 60

I also find it worth pointing out that most of us here have this run already and your convenience is something we find redundant and overpriced by a full order of magnitude.

Guys, captain1stern is not that far off. check out this link on ebay:

Complete set sold for $160.00 on September 15. And it did not include the zero issue
We all get wrapped up because we already own the set, more than one in many cases, and would not pay that for another set, but it can and does sell for this price.

Sounds like he'd be better off selling it on eBay, then. Maybe the Deathmate Blue guy can list his book there, too.dhudson1 wrote:Guys, captain1stern is not that far off. check out this link on ebay:

He probably would be better on ebay, bigger pool of buyers, but I still say the deal is not a bad one if you don't have them, want them, and can get them all at once.Brother J wrote:Sounds like he'd be better off selling it on eBay, then. Auctions like that do happen every once in awhile, but definitely not often enough to be the norm.dhudson1 wrote:He probably would be better on ebay, bigger pool of buyers, but I still say the deal is not a bad one if you don't have them, want them, and can get them all at once.Brother J wrote:Sounds like he'd be better off selling it on eBay, then. The only books that anyone who has a set would even want are Magnus 0, 1-12 and #64 Why would I even pay $60 for that?
Shipping is one thing, but buying sight unseen balances that out.
If the Magnus/Predator trade was in there maybe it would sell tha thuhg, I think that other one was probably a fluke. How high was the seller's rating? Higher than 3?
