The great cover artwork really makes the banner stand out. Instantly draws your attention.

Yeah, I saw that, but thanks for pointing it out anyway. The artwork and coloring are a bit of a letdown compared to the cover.

I don't know if we will see a Michael Komarck art throughout book but if they did, I'd buy TWO as I think the art ROCKS. Maybe they will do that one day for a one shot or something like that... I believe that would be GREAT.

Turok has got to be the book I'm most excited about. It will be cool to see what Jim does with him in what is more or less his first crack at the guy. Know what I mean?

Hopefully it's better than the boring stuff Valiant did with Turok.

Valiant Turok was terrible. I liked the 1st 3 issues and the yearbook was decent but after that it was a joke! :atomic:

I actually found the Acclaim premise to be more interesting than the Valiant version. Although, the four issue mini series wasn't very good, but most of the one shots were pretty decent reads.

I kept interested for about 8 issues... but it was the art of Sears and Rags and then later Dedato (which I have not read yet, I have yet to finish Harbinger and Turok and have only read Bloodshot from Acclaim so I cannot comment on the Acclaim Turok) which kept me reading. Nothing spectacular but then again, I can't see any epic tales involving Turok. Guy has no special powers but he would make an awesome modern day Special Forces bubba.

Yeah, the Rags and Sears artwork for Turok was top notch, it's a shame the stories couldn't match it.

I never expected 'much'... Turok was just a Native American at the wrong place at the wrong time, no powers, just a kick butt fighter.

I thought Tim Truman did some pretty decent Turok, I like the way he handles Native American characters and western comics.

He did make a good partner for Aric for some reason. I did enjoy the stories where they teamed up.
