Cockers in Need
This is about a charity that is very near and dear to my wife and I, a local Cocker Spaniel rescue called Cockers In Need. Here is their web site:

My wife and I have adopted two Cocker Spaniels from this rescue, our Barney (who is blind with no eyes) and Freddie. They are wonderful dogs and we love them very much. Linda Ackerman, the person in charge of the rescue has been using a lot of money to vet the dogs and otherwise pay for their costs and their coffers are just about dry.
To help with this, my wife and I are doing two things. First, we are going to adopt another dog. My wife has fallen in love with one of the dogs, so we will be adopting it this weekend. The adoption fee should at least put a small amount back into the CIN account.
Another thing I would like to do is hold two board charity auctions, with the proceeds going to Cockers In Need. I will list these auctions in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. The items I intend to auction off will be a copy of The Birth of the Defiant Universe in NM+ condition and a CGC 9.6 copy of Armorines Vol. 2 #4. Thanks in advance for any help with this!
