Scion (Crossgen)

Post by ian_house »

Just found issue 24 of Scion in a big pile of bits... never knew I had it or previously read it but WOW!

One of the most beautiful comics I've seen in years and for a single issue seemed very interesting too. Is this artwork consistent throughout the Crossgen line?

Just had a look at the issue list in the other forum and they seem to have released ALOT for a recent DU. What went wrong?

I would say YES. The visual aspect in just about every crossgen book is outstanding. (I did not like the First)

You need to track down: Meridian, Ruse (#1-12 one of my most favorite runs ever), Sojourn. Those are my favorites and Scion, Mystic, Route 666 and Negation are not far behind.

Crossgen is a great, great read.

Was it just a case of running out of cash? Or did something happen to them?

There are some threads on here that cover this topic. Search the DU section. I believe it was mis-management. Great books though.

I think we may be able to fill a short with the singles we have.

I can send a long box through parcel2go.com for £8.00 so all is good.
