Never been to a FL Con and I thought that this would be a good 1st con for both me and my kid. He seems less enthused than I.

I went to the Orlando Mega con in 2000.
Pretty coola dn wouls go again.
Not sure how it compares size wise, but i get the impression it wasnt a big deal in the convention tour.
Met Martin Nodell, Golden Age Green Lantern creator which was outstanding.
There was only one queue and that was for Garth Ennis, so i glady passed it up and met anyone else who was around hassle free.
Loved buying there and got soe mad bargains.
I picked up three Comico Primer 2's for $30 each and a golden age shmoo that i sold for £100 in the UK and that coverd the cost of all i bought from that dude.
Also so many bargains i didnt know which way to go.
I pulled Doct Strange# 169 ( 1st isues after title change from Strange Tales) for 10c.
I did also get a Magnus 1 from same stall for 10c too.
Good memories.

I'm going to try and go. I went to the Megacon in Feb. It was good, but pricey.
Is that website funky or is it just my computer? I'd like to know if Hotflips is on the exhibitor list, but it's not working for me.
I think next year, I may go to the FX show in April instead of Megacon. I liked the FX guest list alot more than Megacon, but I didn't hear about FX until it was too late. Has anyone been to that show? Do they have alot of back issue bargain bins?
