I started collecting Valiant from the start. My LCS owner used to read the old magnus stuff, and told me to get on at the start. So I used to have a great collection, I had a lot of the special issues that the comic store would get, becuase the owner had become a friend of mine. I had all the books up until 1993, when I went into the military. After a few years in, I got hurt and got discharged. I went to my parents house had they had gave away all my old toys and comic collection. So I fell of the comic market for many years. But just recently, me and my oldest daughter(15) we went to a book store, and they had some comics, as I look over the book, I found some old back issues for 25 cent, so I got them. After reading them, I remembered how good they are, and now want to get some so my daughter can read the whole series.

sorry if this is in the wrong area, but did they make any trades, or hardcovers. I seem to remember a harbringer trade that had a special boo or card. It been a long time, thanks for any help.

There was a Shadowman tpb, X-O tpb, Harbinger tpb, 2 tpbs of Magnus 1-4 and 5-8, and 2 tpbs of Solar 1-4 and the Origin story.

There were a few hardcovers recently released as well. The HCs are: Archer and Armstrong, X-O, and Harbinger. The HC's have new coloring, a few issues then the tpbs, and some new material (interviews, new stories, etc) as well.

You can find the tpbs as well as the HCs on ebay. I recommend the HCs but it is up to you.

Start hitting all the local comic book shops and snag up any VALIANTS you need.

You can also find full runs on eBay.

Plenty of people around here have extra books for sale. Post a list of the books you are looking for.

i would prefer trades, but i will buy anything A+A, eternal warrior, X-O, and just about anything in lots.

Not a forum, as such, but you could create a thread in one of the other forums. The collectibles-figurines, ect forum is likely your best bet.
