Valiant high grade CGC 9.8 later issues...still a demand?
I've been going through my collection and finding a lot of complete runs on the Valiant books. And I remember about a year ago, there was a demand for high grade CGC 9.8 on those later issues.
I was wondering, is there STILL a demand for high grade 9.8 NM+ CGC graded copies on some of these books?
Since I lost my job this year, I've had to resort to selling my books, and I've got some Valiant I thought about having graded. Just didn't know if it was a good investment anymore, if the demand had quieted some.
Amongst the later and final issues of all the titles, I also found the obscure books, such as BLOODSHOT LAST STAND which I thought of actually doing a signature series on with Mike Zeck.
Thoughts anyone? Still a demand for these books in high grade or no?

I am certainly still interested. The last batch of late issues to hit ebay were all overpriced (no, not the ones I had
) but I would be a buyer in the $40 range for issues from 1996 that I did not already have. Saves me the trouble of finding candidates myself.
I believe I have a full set of 9.8 last issues already for the long running titles. I have hard time believeing these wouldn't fetch north of $100 even today. The X-O 68 and Bloodshot 51 are just really tough. Turok is pretty hard too but not at the same level as the other two.
edit: specifically on LAST STAND - the raw price for this book has not suffered recently. I think a 9.8 would do well.

Seeing that it's PunX (ugh), I can't imagine a it will bring in a whole lot of $$$.StarBrand wrote:I just sent in a set of Punx 1-3 and the Punx Manga Special and they all graded out at 9.8. Two of them are now 1 of 2s and the special is a 1 of 1, the highest previous grade being 9.6 on that one. I'm curious as to the interest I'll have on those when I list them.
