New Overstreet Comic Price Review

Post by TLC55555 »

I provided some information to Overstreet regarding the Harby #1 CGC 9.8 auction from a couple of months ago. In return, they sent me a free copy of the newest Comic Price Review (October). Quite a bit of Valiant information in this issue.

Page 1 - The CGC 9.8 sale for $969.00, continues on page 62. Gives a quote from Shooter about his difficulty in finding early Valiants to collect examples of his work. Another quote from Chuck Rozanski.

Page 19 - CGC 9.8 sales report on Harby #0 Pink, Harby #1, Magnus #0, Magnus #21, RAI #1, Solar #5, Solar #10 and X-O #1.

Page 17 - Market Snapshot - Number of new Valiants submitted to CGC for grading.

Page 25 - "Top Ten to Watch" modern list, Harby #1 listed

Just thought I'd pass it along. I don't believe this issue is on the stands yet. So far, the Overstreet Comic Price Review has impressed me.

I have a Qualified NM Magnus #0 from the "It's not my fault it's bent in half" collection.

Don't forget the little mention in Bob Overstreet's editorial section.

Cool, thanks.
I think that's the first time that Bob Overstreet has actually "mentioned" me...
usually I'm cited as a contributor by Tom Gordon (Managing Editor).

It will be interesting to see if my suggested price changes for
Overstreet #35 (the big book due out next spring) will make the cut.
It's about time Chaos Effect Alpha Red was higher than $5, don't you think?
