Is this the only one devoted to a dead company...or a single company, period?

Saw the head of Atlas/Seaboard Larry Lieber at the Big Apple con this past Sunday. He spent about 45 mins chatting with Steranko. Nice guy, some say he's even nicer than his brother (The Man!).

Marvel Masterworks Boards

Another very good site is the Marvel Masterworks Resource Site. The message boards deal primarily with Marvel Masterworks and DC Archives. It's a labor of love, like this one and is moderated very similarly. If you collect the Marvel and DC hardcover books, it's a great site.

Was there ever a site dedicated to the Ultraverse? I thought that was a cool universe. Some of the non-UV characters by Malibu were also cool.

Continuity had some great characters, but the company would never last long enough to actually fully develop them.

That's the link for the forum (you click on the Defiant or Broadway logos on the forum to go to their prospective sites, but I'm sure everyone knows that :) ).

Just wanted to let people know that it looks the site will be closing down sometime during the holidays (the announcement is posted on the Administration Board in the forums). This is sad because these were the definative sites for Jim Shooter's post-Valiant companies :( so visit them while they last.

Just checked out the Defiant/Broadway forum, nice little site. Went to the Valiant section and seen some of the members from here. Seeing Janet Jackson post there was neat too.

Greg...are you on speaking terms with defiant1??? If so...an archive of his site (like petrilaks) might be a good idea...I know there were some problems with him on the first version of the valiant boards, but he has some good stuff there...it would be ashame for it to completely disappear...

Ew.

You don't have a webcam, do you?

That's just wrong.

That really sucks. It was a great site, I was just starting to visit it. A great resource for defiant and broadway info with a message board that was starting to pick up. I'm totally bummed.

I had just started to visit as well, it's a shame to see them disappear. Hopefully someone picks up the ball and runs with it.
