I am not even sure if this is a 'Dead Universe' or not but anyone interested in the comic Razor from London Night ?

I stopped by the LCS tonight and they finally put out more cheap books and they had a freakin' $HITLOAD of these Razor books for only $.50 cents a piece. I think all were bagged and boarded.

If anyone wants me to pick any up for them, we can work something out. Me... I am 'going out on a limb here' but I am going back there tomorrow for a near complete run of Icon 1-27 (only missing a few in between) all bagged and boarded. :thumb:

So, again... if anyone is into Razor from London Night for $.50 cents an issue, just LMK. I mean it must be a long box of them (LCS owner bought a collection recently and must want to get rid of them as they take up space in the store).

If they happen to have the issue pictured below, pick it up for me if you wouldn't mind:

I doubt they'll have it in their cheap bins since the cover is so graphic, but who knows?

I'll always take Armando Huerta covers at a good price.

I had a complete run of this at one time - starting with the first printing of the first issue and including all of the variants and gimmicks they did (including signed photos of the model they hired, etc). They're all gone now, though and I can't really say that I miss having them.

I still have most of the first printing of the first stuff. London Night Studios was based in NC and I was trying to support local business in my state at the time and it was during the 90's boom/bust.

My excuse is that I was young and, at the time, really dug the ultra violent T&A stuff. But that stuff got old and ridiculous pretty quick.

London Night prided itself for having no comic code and over the top violence and T & A.

Sure thing, I will check on it tonight. Just give me another reason to make sure and stop in to pick those Icon issues. (NOT getting into Milestone, NOT getting into Mileston, NOT getting into Milestone)

NO NO, not gonna do it, not gonna do it !!!

Honestly, I will have to see how these books are first. I figure the near complete run of Icon 1-27 is ready for pick up and seeing how a cursory looks goes... but eh, I have this new Triumphant, Virgin thing going on (among HOW many others ?) and trying to finish my Airboy run things that are hot and heavy.

(ya know I JUST found out that Airboy is from the WWII era !!! As well as the Project Superpowers characters... I don't know whether to say COOL or feel that I have been duped. It seems like all the charactes/groups that I am collecting are not new by any standard. :? )

My Icon needs list is not that large either, today I picked up Icon 1-29 (missing a few here and there) and I.... oh crap. I TOTALLY dig this book. :!:

Milestone is good... and now so many to collect. :!:

This run I picked up, I think they were bagged from day one. CHERRY condition books. :thumb:

Well bummer, after taking my Icon books out of their bags/boards tonight to re-bag/board them, I came to find that these books had been kept out of the bags and were a bit wavy (probably stored where there was humidity or within the direct air of a swamp cooler). These are good reader copies for right now but I am going to hunt these books down again and try for better condition books. I mean the books are 'ok' in condition but that will bug the heck out of me when I bust them out to read them...

Dammit, I was psyched but I will continue to pick them up and add Milestone to my needs list.

I also picked up a copy of Legacy by 'Majestic Comics'. Really nice cover and typical 1993 interior art, but... you thinkin' what I'm thinkin' ?

I look forward to hunting for Milestone books. This looks like a 'quality' universe, well written, consistant art... and well, some of the titles went up to 40+ issues. That might say something about the books in and of themselves.

I remember reading some "Majestic Comics" back in the day, including "Legacy," and thinking they were pretty good. Not the best art, but solid writing.

I just found issues 1 & 2 of Legacy as i was sorting and i do recall redaing # 1 a few months back which was actually pretty cool considering some of the other books being put out at the time by indy publishers.

Sorry Brother J, but one was not to be found, I looked in the boxes and on the racks. The ones on the racks were priced higher (but funny thing, he had the same issues in the $.50 bin... I think he took one of each, slapped a $10 sticker on it and then binned the rest, what a f@ck-tard)
