I loved X-Factor until Stroman came aboard and sucked the life out of the book with his horrendous artwork.

That's why She-Hulk came first even with the Lady Liberator silliness of the last few months.

The Twelve
Thor
Captain America
Guardians of the Galaxy
Thunderbolts

Series that I know were top notch in 2007 but I don't have enough issues of to judge in 2008: Hercules, X-Men First Class and Nova (sorry the dollar box is kind of slow getting back issues LOL). Oh and New Avengers is pretty darn good too.

For me, my 5 favourite ongoings:

Immortal Iron Fist
Avengers: the Initiative
Nova
Ultimate Spider-Man
Amazing Spider-Girl (really)

The Twelve would be there (bumping ASG) and Kick-*SQUEE* (bumping USM) if it were simply the five best books.

Check out the early issues first. The creative team has changed and the book doesn't yet feel quite 'settled' to me, but the first 17/18 or so issues and one-shots are brilliant.

X-force (if you havent read this pick up the trades) :thumb:
Captain America
Captain Britain & MI13
The Twelve
Wolverine (Old man logan is cool)

X-force vol 1 + 2 are out, this book reminds me of the old Clairemont uncanny stories, with a darker twist.

YES, I was sad to see Ellis leave but it was an INCREDIBLE run. The new guy has his own style but it is gritty and well written. Like Ennis, he is taking the Punisher seriously.

I would highly anticipate that you would like it. But I think that you would know that I would recommend or anticipate something like that, right ? (I totally didnt plan that in PHX, dude)
