Unreleased Comics = New Stories?

Post by ManofTheAtom »

When VEI does a hardcover for a series that had an unreleased comic (i.e. the Armorines Yearbook), should they comission a new story or reprint the unreleased comic?
:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

Heh

It would be interesting if VEI were to ever reprint the new stories in regular comics (or maybe 48 page comics).

Unless it's an unreleased issue that would fit in with the other stories in the Hard cover, I really don't see what the point would be. Say they were doing Secret Weapons 1-7, what sense would it make to have the unpublished 22 or 23 in there? I'd rather see them just print the comic as a comic.

I'd say it would be cool but it will be a LONG time. They will re establish before they go in to unexplored territory.
I and many others would like a few new comics over stuff that was planned and cancelled jut my :twocents:

unreleased, that way it stays as a more even flow of what the writer was going for at the time, not being influenced by whats going on NOW
