Man I wish I would have known, I just sold two old systems, the good one was broken. I would have worked on fixing it (I think it needed a new mainboard) rather than selling it for $80.
You, know, the guy who bought it put it back up because it was "beyond his ability". I don't know what he was thinking. Search on sn95g5 on eBay. If we bought that one back and got a second one mostly working, I would put it all together and get it all going.
I ran out of patience waiting for a cheap working one to appear. There were a few wholesale lots but none of the buyers wanted to work with me, and the individual ones that show up are all tricked out.
Just an idea.

Ok, so let's say we will have all the donations by sunday night. Please send me a PM with the amount you want to donate if you haven't posted the amount. Anyone else wanna help our brother John? Some of you really have no idea of the amount of time he spends at shows and such arranging things for us, and getting autographs for projects. He never has time to just enjoy the shows. So this would be a nice way to say thanks to him! I'm thinking if we can come up with around $400 it should get a nice computer. Any leftover money will go to the CFF. C'mon guys, HOOKABRUDDAUP!

Ok everyone, it looks like I can get a pretty nice desktop for about $325.
So, anyone that was willing to chip in, please do so as soon as possible. I would like to go get something this week. Also, anyone that hasn't chipped in yet, anything would be appreciated! Thanks again and let's keep John connected from now on!
You can paypal to Chainnball@aol.com. Just put computer in the heading.
