Hi guys,

After Drift and myself had a really great time at the comic show yesterday, its time to share some goodies found in bargain bins.

We found some 1st app of the Rocketeer in Starslayer # 2 and thought we would share them with you swell dudes.

Anyone wanting a copy for free simply post here telling us why you are worthy and the first ten pulled names randomly pulled from Drifts underwear draw ( i kid you not we thought it would be more fun this way :o ) get them.

To top it off, the first place will also get Starslayer # 3 and Pacific Presents #2 which are parts two and four ( sorry no part three :| ) of the story and a copy of Comico The Rocketeer Adventure Magazine #1 too.

Just added on today, Heath is kindly adding some more Comico Adventure mags and some Eclipse special Editions too, so big shout to that man !!!

So Names 2 to 9 will also get a copy of The Rocketeer Adventure Mag too.
Plus the first three wil get a copy of the Rocketeer Eclipse Special Edition too.
How cool is that?

Names pulled saturday.

Good luck

Draco

P.s oh yeah they all range from VFN- to NM

I would like one! I can't think of a reason why I'm worthy, but I love The Rocketeer, don't have any of the Starslayer issues, and really want one! I'm pretty sure I have the Comico Rocketeer Adventure Magazine (will double check). If I do, and my name is drawn, just pass it along to the next person.

I would like a copy of the Rocketeer . . .

I was in a large comic shop yesterday . . looking at the various statues and such . . and I saw a 1:1 replica of the Rocketeer helmet on display . . (this is a true story)

A fellow comic enthusiast saw me looking and struck up a conversation . . I let him know that the only experience I have had with the Rocketeer was the movie . . .

He recommended I pick up a few trades . . . I said I would check it out and turned the conversation toward Valiant . . . He was unaware of the Valiant universe so I gave him a few tidbits to chew over . .

You see . . I planted a seed . . . and like the effect of a butterfly flapping it's wings turning into a hurricane . . . this seed will grow and a new Valiant fan will be born . . .

I am like Johnny Appleseed . . . except without the literal seeds . . . and my name is not Johnny . . . so really I'm nothing like Johnny Appleseed . . . but you get my point . . .

I am worthy because I spent over 2 hours with HP customer support trying to get my printer to use a custom size paper... which was only a 1 minute fix. :!: :!: :!:

And yet, I still maintained sanity.

For the most part. :insane:

I've been wanting a nice high-grade copy of this book for many years. :cloud9:

Well, I've watched 1000's of hours of British TV programing.

I'm watching a travel show about eating in Scotland right now.

I've been a whovian for over 20 years.

But, most importantly, I love haggis, and go to our Celtic festival over here every year. (I'm 50% Scottish, and 50% Irish for the most part)

:D

So, get off ya arse ye git, or I'll do ya nutter.

Send my book across the pond ya great buggery bullocks.

:D

Ok, ya'll can laugh at me now. :)

I'm worthy because I stopped a baby seal clubbing.

The seal marched right into the bar, and I was all like "sorry, you're underage AND you're a seal. See you later!"

I mean, I hear how bad baby seal clubbing is all the time, and I have to agreee. Must be horrid on their livers.
