I can still get you a copy of three at my local shop at cover price if you like.

Last week I picked up his last #2 and he still had a few #3 at cover price

I'm looking for a copy of number 3 myself.

Anyone have a copy to spare?

It's the first solo comic book by Joe Hill, Stephen King's son. He wrote a story on Spider-Man Unlimited 8 but I think that was an anthology.

I have picked up issues 1,2 and 4 of this series and I LOVE it! I am looking into getting 3 on eBay but since I have the 1st prints of 1 and 2 I was thinking of getting the first print of 3.

I just saw that 5 came out and I'm gonna have to eBay that one too since none of my local shops carry it.

I got issues 1 and 2 for $30 combined :thumb:

I have all the issues of Locke & Key for sale in my Ebay store if anyone is interested. If anyone wants to do the deal outside of Ebay, I can pass their savings off to you. :thumb:

Looks like we will be seeing a Locke & Key movie in the not too distant future.

http://www.variety.com/article/VR111798 ... id=13&cs=1

It is kinda old news but I just saw it.

I wonder if this has to do with the high prices the back issues are fetching?

Yeah, the low print run is probably the main factor.

I disagree about being stupid for paying for the high grade. I wouldn't myself, but you can always count on a fair number of any print run on any book to have printing defects, or get damaged during shipping, damaged on the racks etc.

Just because all of the 26 books graded so far are 9.8 and higher doesn't mean that every book is 9.8 or higher.

If I'm sending in books this new, I'm gonna pre-screen it @ 9.8 because brand new books just aren't worth having them grade out at 9.6. I have a Locke & Key #2 that's probably a 9.6 but it's never gonna show up on the census because I'm never gonna send it in.

However, you are probably better off buying a raw copy and sending it in yourself, but there are some people who are just too impatient or too lazy to do that.
