Had an ESB Ugnaut MIB back in the day. Traded it for a few loose figures... back in the day. Now just the PotF stuff. Long sabers. got a lot of those. All MIB. No desire to collect anymore since Episode 1.
Episodes 1-3 (and all the PotF stuff) turned me off to Star Wars. It's completely different with those movies out.

I just about have a complete vintage collection. I fell in with the PotF stuff for quite a while and then when they were producing characters that were in the movie for 17 seconds in the background, I started to get iffy on the whole thing but THEN when Episode I came out, I was simply disgusted with the over-marketing (and how bad I thought the movie was). I sold it all away at a HUGE loss to which I was happy to get anything for and only kept the loose vintage figures and I LOVE those... always will. I have them each in a bag inside an airtight container (not sure if that is good or not).Unblessed wrote:Episodes 1-3 (and all the PotF stuff) turned me off to Star Wars. I am especially proud of my Star Wars vintage trading card collection. I am missing a few stickers here and there (and the x-rated C-3PO card) but these are cherry condition cards. (long story behind that, but lets say that I stumbled upon over 5,000+ vintage cards for free).

I have the R2D2 toybox. It was big enough that I would always sit in there and read comics when I was younger.1st Among Equals wrote:Does anyone collect Star Wars figures?

Dude the amount of dreams i have had where i come across Golden age collections etc.Dr. Solar wrote:I had a dream that I was at a garage sale and this guy was selling tons of vintage Star Wars and G.I. Joe toys pretty cheap. Every figure I looked for was there, adn it was all in beautiful shape.
I was trying to figure out how much money I could spend when the alarm went off.
Then i wake up and know theyre not there and oh boy it sucks to be awake again.

Can't afford to collect Star Wars figs (I've got a comic book and Role Playing Game habit to pay for!), but I did pick up a few neat figures years ago. The translucent ghost figures for Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin from ROTJ. The other neat thing I found was a Mos Eisley Cantina diorama which was supposed to have a Sandtrooper figure in it, but instead had a Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper armor figure! I bought that sucker up and it's been in my closet ever since. Never opened the box or anything.

I have a loose complete C-9+ Vintage collection, all the figures from the movies and variants (vinyl cape jawa), blue snaggletooth, all the POTF figures, and most of the vehicles and playsets in complete C-9 condition. Still working on a loose complete Lili Ledy collection, but that will take time and a decent amount of $$$.
