Aster...

Anybody collect Aster from Entity Comics ? I just picked up Aster #0-4 and LOVE the covers. The interiors look pretty nice as well. These guys also did Zen Intergalactic Warrior, Harrier and others. I'll get a list together... hmmmm is this another DU under my belt ? :hm:

Entity was one of the companies we just discussed in Draco's thread. Mile High has over 75 entries for different titles published by them, so it's a pretty good sized group of books to collect.

Aster has 2 volumes that look very much the same. Be careful when sorting. :hm:

Here is a partial checklist I never got back to.

Yeah, after a bit more researching I found the company to be larger than I originally thought and found a slew of Aster books, silver foils, gold foils, limited ashcans etc. (exciting news)

I bought these new when they came out. Pretty decent read from what I recall (Kinda reminded me of Warlock from the Marvel universe). I believe Jae Lee and Joe Quesada did some of the covers. I have these posted on my trade list, I may have to dig them out & give them a read again. Thanks Knightt for piqueing my interest on books I was going to get rid of if I could  :thumb:

With the history between you and I and your history on the message board... I would prefer that you would not.

Hey not a problem. I picked up a couple of these a while back, super cheap and just have not had time to sit down and read what I had THEN I see books that I didnt know existed, so I picked them up. I just picked up the #0-4 for $.99 and it piqued MY interest in them as well.

Some of the 'gold covers' were printed only up to 600 copies and there are a few 'signed copies' as well. Then again, I am a sucker for holofoil.

Ill buy any foil for 25/50p

Seriously anything.

I scour cheap bins at shows and stick then in my to do box.

Then a year later i slop them in my Ltd edition/variant sections for £5-15 and they sell.

Last show some dude pulled out £120 worth or weird DU specials and i recognised some 25p bargains in there.

WOOOOOOOOOO !!

One mans junk and all that.
