My Valiant story
Hello Guys, I just wanted to say hello, since I am new the forum. I'm a senior at PSU majoring in biotechnology, but enough about that; I'm here for what we are all here for, to talk about funny books. I remember when I was about 10 or 11 years old there was all the rave about the valiant books, but i was young and silly and only read Marvel books. Fast foreward to college, I started getting interested in other books, mostly Vertigo, Mircaleman, etc. On a file sharing program, I stubbled upon a some great citizens who scanned every single Valiant book, so I started reading and was instantly hooked. The story gets better. Over Christmas break, I sold a few thousand DC books for a friend on Ebay and he gave me a 2 Near Mint sets of the 1st 3 years of all the valiant books produced. All the issues still had the coupons intact and were in great shape. I was so excited it messed my sleep schedule up for when I restarted classes this semester. So now, like so many before I am trying to complete my valiant collection. Any suggestions in completing this task would be welcome!

Welcome to the board!
DJ pretty much hit the nail on the head, just tool around the Buy/Sell/Trade section of the forums. You'll find most of what you need, and a good portion of it for less than a dollar an issue. If you've got the first year or two of publication, you're a lot closer than you think dollar-wise. The next three years or so can be had quite cheaply.
