Harbinger: The Beginning ***SPOILERS Thread

Post by ManofTheAtom »

This is a thread for people who already have the HC to speak freely about the new story, post theories about what it means for VALIANT, where it seems to lead to, etc, etc.

I won't get my copy until September, but hopefully people who got their copy in Chicago will start talking about it here, while those who'll get theirs on the 29th can join in when they get their copies.

I for one don't mind spoilers, so please go for it :)

I'd really like to know who the new characters are, what the story is about exactly (is it just a repeat of the panels from Harbinger #0, or is it something else?), and if there's any hint as to what continuity this story takes place in (i.e. does reading it give an idea of what, if any, stories VEI is going to ignore?)

What are you talking about?

I only buy comics to read them.

The above post is called HUMOR... I think you're getting whatever Daniel Jackson has.

Jim Shooter may be a visionary, but he couldn't have predicted the future of CAPITAL LETTERS!!!

Heh

I bring it up because the logo/tm that VEI was going after according to the TM office is the original logo, with color included (something I've rarely seen on that website). This logo is completely different.

I'm worried this may be due to the VIP situation.

Nah, the logo is "close enough" for trademark purposes.

Any trademark of an "eight-pointed star" or "compass in circle" would be enough
to cover every variation of the same... especially when this one is a 3D angle of the 2D version.

Look at the "new" logo straight on, and it would look the same as the old one. :thumb:
