Any Lady Death fan?

Post by Stinger »

I have early series #1 to 3 with the chromium cover. However, I might get back into Lady Death collecting again. She looks cool, but I have a bad feeling about her storyline and art style.

Is she worth to collect or dump? Is there any a good storyline/issue that is worth to read?

Im not collecting them because she has ghetto body, but I was a kid back there when her comics were hottest.

I gave Lady Death her fair shot.

The concept the story is based on is pretty interesting, but the writing is just not consistently there.

Mediaeval Lady Death is a little more bearable.

All I know about Lady Death is that the animated movie was awful.

Collect her earliest appearances in Evil Ernie: Youth Gone Wild. The problem with Lady Death today besides the 400 million different covers is that any single story makes AllStar Batman look timely and never late. With that in mind its really hard to keep following a story.

The only Lady Death book I read was the one that Crossgen published. Even though the artwork was really good, I just couldn't get into it.

If you're in it for the stories, stick to the Chaos issues.

YEah, I have thought about collecting the early issues. I would do that after I complete my Valiant pre-unity project.

Thanks for the link to a lady death collection. That seems like a great source to answer my questions.
