In fact, if you're a Sliders fan (as you should be!), EP.com is pretty much a one-stop site for info. Along with dimensionofcontinuity.com, but that's for Behind the Scenes action.

The first two seasons of Sliders and the first half of season 3 were awesome.

Season four could have been better, and season 5 while it had some good ideas it was a big let down.

I do hope they release all of them on DVD so I can buy them :)

I know they're releasing seasons 1 and 2 in one set, but it's very, very expensive.

Good concept, good cast, good everything. I haven't ever read the comics but I keep Sci-fi on in the studio when I'm working and it is just an excellent show. Still can't top Stargate though.
Good skin, gone bad.

Sliders and Valiant actually have quite similar stories. Tracy Torme (the creator) relied heavily on good stories, characterization, and a lot of continuity. Action was used when needed and not abused. Then management took over and began to rip off movies and had pointless stories and mindless action sequences. Tracy was then pushed out completely and, well, the show struggled to stay afloat. It's all so familiar.
